  Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Designer to join our fashion team in Mississauga, ON. This role plays a key part in ensuring garments meet design intent, fit standards, quality requirements, and production timelines from development through final approval.

The successful candidate will work closely with designers, production teams, and manufacturers to develop accurate technical packages, manage fit sessions, and resolve construction and quality issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain detailed technical packages (specs, measurements, construction details)

  • Conduct and evaluate fit sessions; provide clear, actionable comments

  • Review samples and ensure garments meet fit, quality, and design standards

  • Collaborate with design, production, and sourcing teams throughout the development process

  • Communicate revisions and approvals to vendors clearly and accurately

  • Ensure consistency across size ranges and production runs

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Technical Designer in the fashion/apparel industry

  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and grading

  • Ability to read and create technical drawings and spec sheets

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and time-management abilities


Work Environment

  • On-site work only (must be completed at the physical location)
