A sense of urgency is an asset because we strive to ensure that every customer order is prepared with love and efficiency. We are looking for team members who are available immediately, can work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.

 

Panago Hours of Operation: Sunday – Thursday 11AM – Midnight, Friday + Saturday 11 AM – 1 AM. 

 

Basic Function

·      Directly responsible for ensuring all operating standards are met.

·      Demonstrate leadership in attaining high standards of Quality, Service and Cleanliness.

·      Play an active role in the training and development of all store employees.

 

Duties And Responsibilities

·      Maintain a high degree of personal standards and conduct.

·      Provide positive leadership and role modeling to all employees. 

·      Responsible for knowing and being proficient in all in-store positions. 

·      Responsible for ensuring the store operates within Panago standards. 

·      Assists with the training and development of all employees. 

·      Follow proper store opening and closing procedures. 

·      Maintain all operational and personnel policies and procedures. 

·      Ensure all store cash security procedures are followed and adhered to. 

·      Complete paperwork and administrative tasks as required. 

·      Instil an attitude of team spirit with all employees working to help each other. Initiate communication and raise awareness on issues affecting the operation and atmosphere of the store. 

·      Model an appropriate level of shift operations. 

·      Supervise the store in management's absence.

 

Performance Expectations

·      Achieve 100% performance standards in all team member positions.

·      Play an active role in achieving food cost goals through managing waste, cheese cost and other areas as required.

·      Play an active role in achieving labour cost goals through effective managing of the labour schedule while delivering good customer service.

·      Ensure all administrative duties are completed with accuracy and neatness.

·      Leads by example and demonstrates pride in work.

·      Develop and maintain a high standard of teamwork with all employees.

 

Competencies Required

·      Strong communication skills.

·      Fluent in English.

·      People management and relations skills.

·      Possession of a safe food-handling certificate.

·      Legible writing skills.

·      Possess good judgment and problem-solving skills.

·      Demonstrates self-confidence and a willingness to learn and try new ideas.

·      Good leadership skills.

·      Hard working with a determined work ethic.

 

Qualifications and skills Required:

·      Completion of secondary school is required.

·      Several years of experience in food preparation or service is required.

·      Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management is preferred. 

 

Title of the position: shift supervisor

 

Terms of Employment: Full time permanent position. 40 hours per week. 

 

Wage: Basic Wage is $22 per hour.
