Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with disabilities. This role requires a blend of caregiving skills, patience, and the ability to perform various tasks that promote independence and comfort for our clients.


Duties

  • Assist client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure client safety.
  • Administer medication reminders and support clients with their prescribed health routines.
  • Offer specialized care for individual with disabilities.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in home care or caregiving is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility.
  • Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently while following care plans set by healthcare professionals.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between client homes.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid or relevant caregiving training is advantageous.
