Responsibilities and Tasks:
· Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
· Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
· Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
· Estimate costs and materials
· Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
· Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
Transportation/travel information:
