  Job Description

Construction labourer and helper

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • ·       Clear the construction site of debris, obstacles, or hazardous materials and prepare it for building activities
  • ·       Transport construction materials such as cement, bricks, and tools to appropriate locations on the site
  • ·       Assist in operating basic construction equipment, including forklifts, concrete mixers, and jackhammers under supervision
  • ·       Help in setting up scaffolding, ladders, and temporary structures that provide support during construction tasks
  • ·       Work closely with skilled tradespeople by handing them tools and materials or helping with minor tasks
  • ·       Perform manual labor like digging trenches, leveling earth, or excavating for foundations and drainage systems
  • ·       Assist in mixing and pouring concrete for foundations, walls, and other structures
  • ·       Follow safety protocols, wear protective gear, and ensure the site is compliant with local health and safety regulations

 

This is a full-time employment opportunity.

 

We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications:

·       High school Diploma

·       1+ years of work-related experience as a general construction labourer

·       On-the-job training provided

 

Compensation: $34.15 per hour

 

Location: Travel to different sites in the GTA will be required. The Head office is located at 155 Rexdale Blvd #502a, Etobicoke, ON M9W 5Z8
