Bakery Supervisor - Retail

Fortuna Bakery Ltd. is seeking a reliable and energetic Bakery Supervisor – Retail to join our team at our Burnaby location.

Overview

Languages : English
Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods; batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes; and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• Prepare special orders.
• Supervises baking staff and kitchen staff.
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
• Organize and maintain inventory.

Supervision :

• Supervises a team of 3–4 people.
