Job Details: The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals while ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety standards. The role involves planning menus, estimating food requirements, and managing kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. The Cook supports efficient kitchen performance by maintaining inventory, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring cleanliness and organization of food service areas. Attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work under pressure are essential to deliver high-quality meals and maintain customer satisfaction.Job Responsibilities:·         Determine portion sizes and estimate food costs.·         Plan menus and estimate food requirements accordingly.·         Requisition and order food, kitchen supplies, and equipment.·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.·         Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.·         Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance.·         Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff and helpers.·         Maintain inventory and accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.·         Clean kitchen and work areas.·         Recruit and hire staff when required. ·         Manage overall kitchen operations efficiently.Requirements: Food Safety Certificate.
