Salary range: CAD 95,000 to CAD 100,000 per annum

Start date: As soon as possible

Duties and responsibilities:

·         Develop detailed EDC design specifications, including form layouts, edit checks, dynamic logic, controlled terminology, and calculated fields based on study protocol and stakeholder requirements.

·         Build, configure, and validate Medidata Rave EDC databases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with regulatory and sponsor standards.

·         Conduct comprehensive database testing (unit testing, system testing, and UAT oversight), resolve discrepancies, and ensure readiness for deployment.

·         Execute production migrations, database deployments, midstudy updates, and system maintenance throughout the clinical trial.

·         Collaborate closely with data managers, biostatisticians, clinical teams, vendors, and investigational sites to support efficient and accurate data collection across all phases of the study.

·         Maintain auditready documentation, support internal and external audits (FDA, TMF & Documentation audits etc) and provide subjectmatter expertise on EDC design, data validation, and system compliance.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve data and systemrelated issues reported by study teams, vendors, or sites to ensure uninterrupted study execution.

·         Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing EDC development standards, updating SOPs, optimizing workflows, and implementing best practices to improve data quality, system efficiency, and overall operational performance for Canadianmanaged clinical projects.

 

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, information systems or a related discipline or completion of a college program in computer science is preferred.
  • Certification or training required in Rave SDBE and Lean Six Sigma
  • Technical skills required: SAS, SQL, C#, CDASH, SDTM, ADaM, and CDISC
  • Elite-level clinical programming experience is preferred
  • Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments
  • Analytic, problem solving, and critical thinking skill set required
  • Strong attention to detail, effective time management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
