Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Sports Leader - Taekwondo to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for demonstrating and instructing taekwondo techniques, supervising staff, and ensuring the safe execution of fitness and sports activities. The role requires an individual who is passionate about sports leadership, team coordination, and promoting health and safety regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness, or sports activities and techniques
  • Plan and carry out recreational, fitness, and sports activities
  • Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs
  • Schedule activities and coordinate sports or fitness events
  • Supervise and train staff (5-10 people)
  • Maintain and repair sports equipment as needed
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Keep logs and maintain records of activities and participation
  • Prepare reports related to sports and fitness programs
  • Assemble supplies, sports, and game equipment
  • Understand and apply principles of group dynamics
  • Monitor activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required


Qualifications

  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role
  • Language: English
  • Work Setting: On-site (no remote work available)
