Job Description:
We are looking for 1 sous-chef for full time employment at least 32 hours per week for our
restaurant located in North Vancouver BC.
Salary depends the experience and ranges from 22$ to 24$ hourly plus gratuities.
Duties:
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
- Analyze operating costs and other data
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
- Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Required:
- Good knowledge of english
- At least 1 year of relevant work
experience
- High School Certificate
